Drive Mansions building requires continual maintenance. It was decided some time ago to prioritise the maintain the critical fabric of the building rather than pay attention to the cosmetics of the common parts.
Unfortunately maintenance projects undertaken so far has meant that the common parts are now very shabby and crying out for decoration. However there are still further disruptive renovations to be done. If everything was done at the same time the cost per flat would be prohibitive.
